Implementation Strategy
An intentional, systematic intervention designed to integrate evidence-based (or “best practice”) innovations into current work processes for sustained use
Types of implementation strategies:
Discrete strategy: One tactic, process, or action
Multifaceted strategy: Two or more discrete strategies
Blended strategy: Two or more discrete strategies that are interwoven and packaged as a protocolized or branded implementation intervention, typically aimed at addressing multiple levels of context and barriers to change
