Space

Physical space is available to implement and deliver the innovation.

Squires et al. define space as a resource as “the presence/absence, design, maintenance, and allocation of areas that are properly equipped, clean, and of sufficient size and number for the provision of health care in a facility” (see also Structural Characteristics: Physical Infrastructure) (Squires et al., 2019 p3 Additional File 2).

Qualitative coding guidelines that are aligned with the Updated CFIR will be added in the future.
